Hi I’m Joanna Howard, a Sr. Residential Mortgage Loan Originator. I am a twenty year veteran in the mortgage industry. My career started in 2002 when I opened a credit repair company, helping to clean credit for borrowers needing to get qualified for mortgages. Within that year I transitioned the company into a mortgage company to continue to help my clients realize their dreams of home ownership. In 2006, when the market began to turn, I went to work for JPMorgan Chase Bank using my experience and expertise in the sub-prime side of lending and then transitioning to the prime banking side within the branches to further my client relationships in mortgages. I have extensive training in credit, operations, sales and many other aspects of the lending industry.
I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah as well as an associate’s degree as a paralegal. I’m proud to have been recognized by my employers as a Top Performer in recent years, as well as clients for my dedication, superior customer service, and quality loan closings. I find the mortgage business very challenging and highly rewarding, especially when I can aid my clients in the purchasing of their first home, investments properties, in the refinance of their mortgages to renovate, pay for college expenses or to improve their current financial status.
